English is the global language. That is true. However, with so many different varieties, international communication can still be a challenge. Certain grammar, vocabulary, expression and style choices can make English much more useful as a world language. Strict English is an attempt to provide guidance what those choices might likely be. Native speakers, especially, need to adjust to this English as a world language.
Another area in which communication often breaks down is due to a lack of clarity. The second element of Strict English is to explore those various elements that make for clear and easily understood communication.
Over the coming year we will be producing and e-book laying out the principles of Strict English. We call it the Global Communicator Kit or GCK. We will all of our clients once this publication is ready. However, during the production process, we will share some of the content with our clients so that they might use it as part of their training.
